According to DownDetector, a website used for monitoring such disasters, at least 6,000 users reported problems at 8:24 a.m. Indian time. One thing is clear, 93 percent of people are having trouble tweeting from the Twitter handle.
Note that in April last year, Twitter also faced such a disaster. It takes more than 24 hours to solve that problem. More than 40,000 were reported at the time.
