This is Harley Davidson’s second attempt to capture the market for premium electric motorcycles. In May, Harley founded a new electric motorcycle brand called Livewire, their first electric motorcycle. Separately from the parent company, they said they would introduce battery-powered motorcycles in the future under the Liveware brand. And so it is! Yesterday, Liveware launched their first electric motorcycle, Livewire One, in the United States. The original Harley-Davidson has been launched as Liveware One, with minor changes to the Liveware as the old wine in the new bottle.

The Liveware One comes with a 15.5 kilowatt battery pack and an 78 kilowatt electric motor. Liveware claims that this motor will get a maximum of 105 hp of power and 117 Nm of torque. If the battery is full, Liveware One will be able to walk 235 km on city roads and 113 km on highways.
Thanks to the powerful motor, the Liveware One can reach speeds of 0 to 100 km / h in just 3 seconds and a top speed of 177 km/h. Liveware One has TFT LCD Digital Instrument Cluster for viewing necessary information including navigation, battery status, alert monitoring. Also available on this electric bike are Six-Axis IMU, Cornering ABS, Riding Mode (Sport, Road, Range, and Rain).
Livewire One price
The Liveware One is priced at $21,999, equivalent to Rs 18.41 lakh in Indian currency. It costs about $7,800 (5,61,000 at current exchange rates) less than the original Harley-Davidson liveware. Liveware One will start selling in the international market from next year. It is expected to set foot in India in the near future.
