As per the announcement of the company, they will offer customers ‘D2h Stream’ (DTH Stream) Android Set-Top Box (STB) at a cost of Rs 2,499 (including 18% GST). Now, after reading so much, many will ask – why would anyone take a D2h connection when there are Android set-top boxes from operators like Dish TV, Tata Sky or Airtel Digital TV at the same price? In that case, in addition to providing STB at cheaper prices, D2h is also offering a benefit of Rs 3,100 at the same time. So now customers can get double benefit if they buy this device. Under the company’s Diwali offer, GrabOn’s Rs 3,100 shopping voucher is currently available with DTH Stream. This means that customers will be able to enjoy offers worth around Rs 600 more than the price of this set top box. Interested parties will be able to purchase it from the company’s website or through the company’s offline retail channel.
Features of D2h Stream box
The DTH Stream Set Top Box is an Android box with Google Assistant and Wi-Fi inbuilt. It will basically display content in 2K quad HD resolution and will allow users to record their favorite shows. In that case it will have a Bluetooth enabled remote.
Speaking of streaming services, users can watch content from over-the-top (OTT) platforms like Disney + Hotstar, Voot, TVF, ZEE5, ALTBalaji etc. Keep in mind, however, that this set-top box will not offer any Netflix content.
