Vivo S9 smartphone is going to be launched soon. This will be the first handset to be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1100 processor. According to a recent report from MySmartPrice, this smartphone may launch on March 6th. Vivo’s new model is offered with a 6.4-inch Full HD + display with a pixel density of 480ppi.
In terms of software, the phone is powered by Android 11’s Out of the Box. Another special feature of this phone is its 44MP dual front camera setup. Just as there are two sensors in this front camera setup, they also have an ultra-wide sensor. The Vivo S9 is a 5G smartphone. It is reported that the display may be AMOLED. However, details about other features of this upcoming model of Vivo have not been matched yet.
Last month, MediaTek launched the Dimensity 1100 and Dimensity 1200 processors. Both these chipsets have 5G support. These two processors can be offered mainly in midrange and premium segment smartphones. Earlier, MediaTek reported that in the first and second quarters of 2021, it will launch multiple smartphones around the world with this state-of-the-art processor.
The Dimensity 1100 chip has an octa-core CPU that can operate a smartphone at 2.6GHz with four Arm Cortex A78 cores and four Arm Cortex A55 cores. Arm Mali G77 GPU is provided in this chipset for the graphics on the smartphone.
This processor is capable of giving a resolution of 2520×1080 pixels on any smartphone with a refresh rate of 144Hz. MediaTek’s APU 3.0 for 108MP camera support and high-performance Dimensity 1100 processors can also extend battery backup of any smartphone.
As well as this sophisticated chipset supports AI camera feature. It has many interesting features like AI-Panorama Night Shot, AI Multi-Person Bokeh, AI noise reduction (AINR) and HDR. The video playback features of this chipset’s great AI technology can also convert AI from SDR to HDR.
According to sources, the Vivo S9 may have the option of 12GB RAM and Android 11 may be offered as the operating system. All such information is known from Google Play listing. Like its predecessor, Vivo’s upcoming model will have an internal storage option of up to 256GB.
