The Honor V40 will be launched on January 18, according to a post from Honor’s Weibo page. The front design of the phone is also seen in this 10 second video. According to the video, this phone will have a display with a punch hole design on the front. Its cut-out will be on the left side of the phone. Selfie camera will be provided. Again, the phone will have a curved edge design. Although the rest of the phones in the series, the Honor V40 Pro and V40 Pro +, are not mentioned in this video.

According to reports, the Honor V40 will feature a 6.62-inch Full HD Plus (1236×26 pixels) OLED display. The refresh rate will be 120 Hz and the touch sampling rate will be 300 Hz. The phone will come with an in-display fingerprint sensor. Again, this phone will have Android 11 based Magic UI 4.0 interface. The Honor V40 will use Dimension 1000+ processor, which means it will be a 5G smartphone. It will come with 8 GB LPDD4x RAM and 128/256 GB UFS 2.1 storage.
The Honor V40 will have a quad rear camera. Its primary camera will be a 50-megapixel Sony IMX766 sensor. The other three cameras are an 8-megapixel super wide lens, a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and a 2-megapixel macro shooter. There will be a 32-megapixel camera for selfies. The phone will come with a 4000 mAh battery, which will support 8 watts fast charging.
