The Vivo X60 series will have a new Origin OS instead of the FunTouch OS

Custom Android skins are now more popular than stock UIs. Let me tell you that the main operating system is called stock UI in simple language, such as Android 10, Android 11, etc. Now companies customize this UI as per the requirement of the users, which is called custom android skin. Among the custom skins, Xiaomi’s MIUI, OnePlus’s OXYGENOS etc. are popular. Smartphone companies use Vivo and their custom skin, FunTouch OS on their phones. This time the company is going to change the name to Origin OS.

Popular tipster, Digital Chat Sation said in a post on Chinese micro-blogging site Weibo that Vivo’s new UI will be called Origin OS. He further said that this skin will be further improved, which can be called a complete package.

Not only that, when a tipster asked for the launch date of Origin OS, he said that this custom skin may be launched with Vivo X60 series. The series could launch in November or December. This series will be an upgraded version of the Vivo X50 series launched a few months ago.

Vivo recently upgraded their custom skin FunTouch OS to 11 versions. This user interface is used with the newly launched Vivo V20. Based on Android 11, this Fantouch OS 11 comes with many advanced features than before. But the company has not yet said why the name of this UI will be changed to Origin OS.
