The Samsung Galaxy S21 series will be launched on January 14, 2021 at the Galaxy Unpacked event. There may be three phones in this series Standard Version, Plus and Ultra. All three phones will use the Snapdragon 888 or Exynos 2100 processor. Qualcomm has already launched their Snapdragon 888 processor. Although the Exynos 2100 chipset has not yet hit the market. So many people thought that this processor will be launched with Samsung Galaxy S21 series. However, the company has informed that Samsung Exynos 2100 will come on January 12, not January 14.
The Samsung Exynos 2100 chipset will be launched on January 12
Samsung has released a 25-second video on their YouTube channel. This video shows the screen being removed from the top of the Exynos 2100 chipset on January 12th. In other words, before January 14, Samsung will host another Galaxy Unpacked event on January 12. Meanwhile, nothing was known about the processor from the video.
However, multiple information about this processor has already come to light from the benchmark site. Some reports have claimed that the Exynos 2100 is in no way behind Snapdragon 888. Meanwhile, according to GeekBench, the Exynos 2100 is a bit behind the Snapdragon 888 in the single core test. This is because Samsung’s processor has scored 1,089 and 3,983 in single core and multi core tests respectively.
Where the score in the single core test of Snapdragon 888 is 1,135 points. However, the Qualcomm processor has scored 3,818 points in the multi-core test, which is less than the Exynos’ 2,100. However, these two processors lag behind Apple’s A14. Apple A14 has scored 1,600 and 3,963 in single and multi-core tests, respectively.
