Hike came up with Hike Sticker Chat- Hikemoji to give its users a taste of stickers featuring different regional languages of India. The app was launched in April 2019 with over 30,000 stickers in 40 Indian languages. However, Hike founder Kavin Bharti Mittal recently tweeted that the application would be discontinued. He said the company would bid farewell to Hike Sticker Chat in January.
Even if the app is shut down, he assures that Hikemoji will be available for other Hike services. All its data can be downloaded in the app. As Hike previously said, the Hike Sticker Chat app has millions of users who spend approximately 35 minutes per day on the app. Nevertheless, the application did not meet the expectations of the company.
Kavin Bharti Mittal also tweeted a few decisions in the new year. For example, Hikeland will now be known as Vibe by Hike. Vibe will be approval-only-community, meaning users will have to apply to join. Mittal says more than 1 lakh people have already applied for Vibe.
In his tweet, Mittal announced a brand-new app called Rush by Hike. Where various games including carom, Ludo can be played. More games will be included there in the future. Rush by Hike is currently available in the App Store for iOS users. But in a few weeks, it will be live in the Play Store for Android users.
