Tecno launched a new smartphone in India on Wednesday. The name of the new model of the company is Tecno Camon 16 Premier. This dual selfie camera phone is priced at just Rs 16,999. For now, the phone has only one colour option, and that is Glacier Silver. The Tecno Camon 16 Premier will go on sale at the Flipkart sale from January 16. Besides, customers will be able to buy the phone from January 16 at various retail stores.

The biggest feature of this new model from Tecno is its dual selfie camera setup. The front of the phone is given a 48MP and another 8MP sensor. The back-panel of the Tecno Camon 16 Premier handset has a quad-rear camera setup with a 64MP primary sensor. There is also an 8MP, 2MP and another 2MP bokeh sensor. On the same day, Techno also released a statement regarding the launch of this Camon 16 Premier phone. There, the company says, “This new-age smartphone supports the Sony IMX 686 RGB sensor and features Super Night 2.0, the world’s exclusive trademark TAIVOS (TECNO AI Vision Optimization Solution) technology.”
The camera also features 4K video at 30fps, super slow-motion video at 960 fps and professional 1080P Polar Night Lens.
The Tecno Camon 16 Premier model features a 6.85-inch full HD + display with a screen-to-body ratio of 90% and HDR 10+ support. Also, the refresh rate of the display of this smartphone is 90HZ.
For performance, this techno model has a MediaTek Helio G90T processor, paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB in-built storage. For superb power, the handset is powered by a 4,500mAh battery, which supports 18W fast charging. Tecno claims that the battery of this phone can give standby time up to 28 days and the calling time is 42 hours continuously.
