Safari is one of the most popular cars of Tata Motors in the Indian market. Utilizing that popularity, the car manufacturer, which grew up in the country, gave a surprise. Tata unveiled their Gravitas SUV at the 2020 Auto Expo. But they have decided to bring it to the market as a new incarnation of the iconic safari. A new safari could be launched later this month. Booking may start very soon.
This is the three-row version of Harrier. The new 6-seater SUV was first unveiled by Tata at the Auto Expo in Greater Noida last year. Gravitas has a more powerful BS-VI standard 2 litter Kryotec diesel engine. This engine can produce a maximum of 160 bps of power and 350 Nm of torque. Tata Motors may launch Gravitas on January 26.

The dazzling look and upmarket cabin – literally the new incarnation of Safari – their upcoming SUV. The Tata Gravitas was being interpreted as a three-row version of the Harrier. The new 6-seater SUV was first unveiled by Tata at the Auto Expo in Greater Noida last year. Gravitas has a more powerful BS-VI standard 2 litter Kryotec turbocharged diesel engine. This engine can produce a maximum of 160 HPs of power and 350 Nm of torque. It will also have a six-speed manual gearbox. However, if any customer wants, six-speed automatic unit can also be available. Tata Motors may launch Gravitas on January 26.
The company did not disclose the price of the new generation Tata Safari in India. It may be unveiled at launch later this month. However, its ex-showroom price is believed to be around Rs 15 lakh.
