Samsung launched the Galaxy XCover Pro smartphone in January last year. A year later, an upgraded version of the Galaxy XCover 5 was seen on the Mill Geekbench and on the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) website. And clear from all those listings, this time the Galaxy XCover 5 handset is ready to be launched in the market. Before the official launch, Tipstar Sudhanshu Amvore shared all the information about the specifications of the phone on Twitter.
According to Sudhanshu’s tweet, the Galaxy XCover 5 smartphone has a 5.3-inch HD + resolution with a pixel quality of 1600 x 900 pixels. Although Sudhanshu did not say what is being offered as a processor in this phone, it is said that it has the option of 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage.

This Galaxy XCover 5 handset is offered with a 3,000mAh battery, which will support 15W fast charging. The camera setup on the back panel of the phone has a single sensor of 16MP. A 5MP selfie shooter will be offered on this Galaxy model as a front facing camera. This phone may have the only black colour option available and will also have LTE connectivity in the Galaxy XCover 5 model.
The Geekbench listing says that the Galaxy XCover 5 smartphone will be offered with Exynos 850 chipset and Android 11 OS operating system as the processor. However, the FCC listing did not provide any information about the specifications of this upcoming model.
However, judging by the expected specifications, experts think that the price of this Galaxy XCover 5 model will be very low and it will be within 7000 rupees. Many are also saying that the Galaxy XCover 5 is going to be an upgraded version of the Galaxy XCover Pro model launched by the company last year. And accordingly, the features of these two models will be very similar.
The Galaxy XCover Pro has a 6.3-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display, capable of delivering full HD + resolution and an aspect ratio of 19.5: 9. This Galaxy handset is powered by Exynos 9611 chipset, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The dual camera setup has a 25MP primary sensor and an 8MP camera. The front of the phone has a 13MP sensor for selfies. It also comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 4,050mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.
