Samsung’s new budget smartphone has been launched in India, ending the speculation. The name of the new model is Samsung Galaxy M02s. This is the latest handset launched by Samsung in India in 2021. Besides, the Galaxy M02 is also a new phone in the price segment below Rs 10,000. This phone has all the more interesting features including triple real camera setup, HD + display and 5,000mAh battery.
The base model of the Samsung Galaxy M02s smartphone i.e. 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage variants are priced at just Rs 8,999 in India. The phone also has a 4GB RAM and 64GB storage option, priced at Rs 9,999. Samsung’s new phone has a notched display and the Galaxy M02s has three colour options, black, blue and red. The Samsung Galaxy M02s handset can be purchased from Amazon India, Samsung’s e-store and various retail outlets. The sale of this new Galaxy model is starting from today.
The Galaxy M02s has a 6.5-inch HD + Infinity V display and a notch on top of that display. For performance, this smartphone has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 450 processor. The phone also has a microSD card slot, which can be used to expand the phone’s storage up to 1TB, which is unimaginable.
This Galaxy M02s smartphone with triple rear camera setup has a 13MP primary sensor, a 2MP macro sensor and another 2MP depth sensor. This phone has a 5MP sensor for front facing camera i.e. selfie. However, the front camera of this Galaxy model from Samsung has some very important features like selfie focus and live beauty. For long lasting battery backup this phone is given a 5000mAh battery, which supports fast charging up to 15W.
The Galaxy M01s was launched in India in July last year. The name of the next generation of that phone is Galaxy M02s. Samsung has upgraded the Galaxy M01s with a slightly larger display, extra camera sensors, more storage and a more powerful battery. The Galaxy M01s is still priced at Rs 8,999 with 3GB RAM and 32GB storage options. Also, within the budget line-up, Samsung still sells the Galaxy M01 Core and M01 in India.
