OnePlus has officially entered the wearable device segment. OnePlus Band was launched in India today as the company’s first wearable device. One of the special features of this fitness band from OnePlus is the 5ATM and IP68 dual resistance rating, heart rate monitoring, 14 days battery life, and dedicated optical oxygen sensor for measuring oxygen levels in the blood.
Price and availability of OnePlus Band
The OnePlus band is priced at Rs 2,499 in India. It comes in black colour option. But to make it even more attractive, OnePlus is offering a navy and dual colour style tangerine Gray wrist strap separately. Each strap will cost 399 rupees.
And two days later, that is, from January 13 at 12 noon, it can be bought from Flipkart, Amazon. However, its Early Access Sale on OnePlus.in and OnePlus Store app is starting from 9 am tomorrow. OnePlus Band will also be available for purchase from OnePlus’ exclusive online store.
Specification of OnePlus Band
The OnePlus band has a 1.1-inch AMOLED touchscreen display with a resolution of 128×294 pixels. It includes a blood oxygen sensor, an optical heart rate sensor, a three-axis accelerometer, and a gyroscope. The 100 mAh capacity battery in this fitness band can provide backup for about two weeks. It will come bundled with wired charging dongle.
OnePlus Band comes with 13 exercise modes like Outdoor Run, Fat Burn Run, Outdoor Cycling, Cricket, Badminton, Pool Swimming, Yoga. It is IP68 certified and has 5ATM water resistance rating. As a result, it can operate at a depth of 50 meters for up to 10 minutes.
OnePlus Band has Bluetooth 5.0 version. In order to connect to a smartphone, the user’s phone must have at least version of Android Marshmallow (6.0). OnePlus Band will work with OnePlus’ new health app. Through which the user can track his daily activities, heart rate, slip data. However, support for OnePlus band will also be brought for iPhone 7 In the next stage, the OnePlus Health application will also be available in the App Store.
