HMD Global launched another budget smartphone. The name of the company’s new smartphone is Nokia 1.4. This budget device will run on the company’s latest Android 10 (Go Edition) and the phone is the next generation of Nokia 1.3 model. Nokia 1.3 was launched last year. The new models are available in three colour options – Fjorde, Charcoal and Dusk. The Nokia 1.4 handset starts at EUR 99 in Europe at around Rs 8,600.
Nokia 1.4 Smartphone Features and Specifications –
This budget smartphone can be upgraded to Android 11 (Go Edition). This phone has a 6.5-inch HD + screen. As a processor, this Nokia smartphone is powered by a quad-core Snapdragon 215 mobile platform. This Nokia 1.4 handset with dual camera setup has a primary sensor of 8MP and another 2MP secondary sensor. This phone has a 5MP selfie camera as the front facing camera.

The Nokia 1.4 model has a 4,000mAh battery, which is 1000mAh more than its predecessor, the Nokia 1.3. The new model also has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and a dedicated button for Google Assistant. In terms of connectivity, there’s also a 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a micro USB port.
Basically, the phone can be bought in the market in three variants. It includes 1GB RAM and 16GB storage, 2GB RAM and 32GB storage, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. Users will be able to expand the space of all these variants up to 128GB with the help of microSD card. However, it is not yet known when this Nokia 1.4 model will be launched in India.
With this, rumours are circulating again that HMD Global has started working on the next generation of Nokia 2.4 smartphones. NokiaPowerUser is saying that the model number of this upcoming Nokia phone is T99652AA1. However, the company has not yet said when the phone will actually launch.
Surprisingly, the model number of the Nokia 2.4 phone was also somewhat the same, T99651AA1. According to the Bluetooth listing, this phone will support Bluetooth 5.0 and LTE. According to sources, the handset is offered with a 6.5-inch display, which will have a dewdrop notch and the resolution of the display will be HD +.
