Motorola’s new surprise. This smartphone-maker is coming soon with a new smartphone in the premium segment. And the name of the new model of the company is Motorola Nio. Recently, several pictures related to the look and design of this phone have been leaked on social media. Tipstar Nils Ahrensmeier was the first to find that picture from Weibo. It is clear from that picture that the display of this phone has a punch-hole cut, there will be a selfie camera.
Also, a ‘Sky’ colour variant of this Motorola Nio model has been observed. It is learned that this phone will also have a ‘Beryl’ variant. However, the leak further reveals that the phone may also be launched in the market under the name Motorola Edge S.
Motorola Nio Design –
Motorola’s new model has a flat display with a very slim bezel. On the right side of the phone is the fingerprint sensor with volume rocker and power button. The leaked image of the Motorola Nio also shows that there is another dedicated button on the left side of the phone. Suppose this button is for Google Assistant. This quad-camera setup has a square module on the back panel, with a 64MP primary sensor and audio zoom attached just below it. The back panel of the Motorola Nio has a glossy finish.
Motorola Nio Specification –
This new Moto handset has a 6.7-inch FHD + display with a resolution of 1,080 × 2,520 pixels and a refresh rate of 105Hz. As a processor, Motorola’s Nio will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, paired with an Adreno 650 GPU, 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM. It has also been reported that a 12GB RAM model of this phone may also be launched. In terms of software, this model is powered by Android 11 OS out of the box. It is also rumoured that the phone will have a 5,000mAh battery for extremely fast charging and great backup.
The most interesting aspect of this phone is its camera setup. The Motorola Nio smartphone will be given a quad rear camera setup, which will have a 64MP Omni Vision OV64B lens as the primary sensor. The secondary camera may also have a 16MP Omni Vision OV16A10 Ultra-Wide-Angle Sensor and a 2MP Omni Vision OV02B1B Depth Sensor. The phone comes with a 16MP primary sensor for selfies and another 8MP secondary.
