Popular multinational company Microsoft has announced a new laptop called Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus. This laptop is an updated version of the company’s Surface 2-in-1 devices, with advanced processor, long battery life, advanced connectivity, powerful RAM and many more fun features. Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus – Specification
As mentioned earlier, this new Microsoft laptop is the latest version of the company’s Surface 2-in-1 series devices. In that case, this device can be used as a tablet, studio, laptop and desktop as needed. The manufacturer claims that the laptop is powered by Microsoft Open Source UEFI and that each layer is handled by Microsoft itself – so it is completely secure. Moreover, this laptop has Device Firmware Configuration Interface (DFCI), which means that one can disable its camera, microphone, speakers, etc. individually.
Interestingly, the laptop is powered by the latest 11th generation Intel Core Tiger Lake processor. And it is available in three options – Core i3, i5 and i7. In addition, it is the company’s first Surface Pro device to offer up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of storage. The laptop also has a removable storage solution. Among other features, it comes with a 12.3-pixel touch screen display with ambient light sensing feature. The feature automatically adjusts to the lighting conditions. The laptop also has a large battery with a capacity of 50.4 watts per hour that can back up to 15 hours on a single charge.
On the other hand, the Surface Pro 7 Plus laptop has the option of optional LTE Advanced Connection, but it is available with a fan-less Core i5 configuration. In this case it supports both e-SIM (eSIM) and ordinary nano-SIM. Not only that, it also has Wi-Fi 6 technology for connectivity. There is also a USB-C type port.
Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Plus – Price, Availability
So far, the company has not disclosed the price of its latest 2-in-1 Surface device. According to the report, it will be available only to customers of enterprise and educational institutions. No information was available on whether ordinary customers could buy it. However, it will hit the US market on January 15.
