Lenovo has come up with two brand new laptops in the IdeaPad range for video and gaming enthusiasts. Compared to the rest of the laptops in Lenovo’s IdeaPad line-up, the launched IdeaPad 5 Pro and IdeaPad 5i Pro come with better performance and more powerful display options. IdeaPad 5 Pro has AMD Ryzen processor. IdeaPad 5i Pro will get Intel processor again. These two laptops of AMD and Intel versions have 14-inch and 16-inch displays. While most of the features are the same, there are some basic differences between the two display versions.
Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Pro
The Lenovo IdeaPad 5i Pro comes in 14-inch and 16-inch screen sizes. Which will provide 16:10 aspect ratio, 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 100 percent sRGB colour gamut coverage. The laptop will get 11th generation Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia MX450 graphics, up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM. This laptop has 1 terabyte SSD for storage. Dolby Atoms has been included for sound again It has intelligent cooling system preload to optimize battery life.
Let’s talk about the difference between 14 inch and 16-inch screen size. The 14-inch variant of the IdeaPad 5i Pro comes with a 2.8K IPS display. Its refresh rate is 90 Hz and maximum brightness is 400 nits. This 14-inch model has a 56.6 Wh battery with Rapid Charge Boost Fast Charging support for power backup. On the other hand, the 16-inch variant of the IdeaPad 5i Pro comes with a 2.5K IPS display. Its refresh rate is 120 Hz and maximum brightness is 350 nits. It has a more capacity 75 Wh battery. Which supports Rapid Charge Express and Thunderbolt 4.
Prices for the 14-inch and 16-inch laptops start at 799 euros (about Rs 63,000) and 699 euros (about Rs 61,000) respectively. Both laptops will be available for purchase from March.
Lenovo IdeaPad 5 Pro
Like the IdeaPad 5i Pro, it comes in 14-inch and 16-inch screen sizes. However, AMD Ryzen Mobile processor has been used instead of Intel. The laptop will have SSD PCIe M.2 storage up to 1TB, up to 32GB RAM and Nvidia MX450 graphics.
Prices for the 14-inch model start at 799 euros (about Rs 72,000). From March, it will be available in Middle Eastern countries, including Africa and Europe. Prices for the 16-inch variant of the IdeaPad 5 Pro start at 1,149,99 euros (about Rs 84,400). It will be available in the US from May.
