      Jio Smartphones: Reliance Jio will bring 5G phones, price will be

      Jio Smartphones: Reliance Jio is going to launch 5G phone soon. According to the information, Reliance Jio, the telecom arm of Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries Limited (RIL), is preparing to launch 5U smartphones for up to Rs 2,500-3,000. According to the information received from Reliance Jio, it will start from a price less than Rs 5,000. As the sales increase, the company will try to provide 5G phones worth Rs 2,500-3,000. Reliance Jio is eyeing around 300 million customers in the country who are still using 2G service. Currently the price of 5G phones available in the country is at least Rs 27,000.

      Reliance Jio First in India

      Reliance Jio is the first company to offer 4G phones in the country for free. Under this, the company was taking Rs 1,500 from customers, which was promised to be refunded. At the 23rd annual general meeting of Reliance Group this year, Chairman Mukesh Ambani promised to “free 2G” India. He also stressed the need to provide affordable smartphones to customers using 2G phones.

      Reliance also tied up with US technology giant Google to provide Android-based operating systems for its smartphones. Under this, Google had bought a 7.7 percent stake in Reliance Jio platforms with an investment of Rs 33,737 crore. Reliance Jio is also working towards developing its own 5G network equipment. The company has also sought spectrum from the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) for testing 5G, which the government is considering now.
      Reliance Jio’s active subscribers increased by 2.5 million

      The number of active consumers of Reliance Jio has increased by 2.5 million in July. The number of active customers of the company declined in June. The number of active subscribers of Bharti Airtel decreased by four lakhs in July and Vodafone Idea lost 38 lakh active subscribers. According to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) data, the total number of telecom subscribers has increased by 3.5 million in July for the first time since February.
