Google is coming up with a new app for storing medical records. This tech giant can launch this app hand in hand with various health care companies. As a result, all the medical documents of the customer can be stored in one place.
According to a report published on the 91Mobiles website, work on the Google Health app has already begun. Tipstar Ishan Agarwal shared a screenshot of the app on Twitter. Medical documents can be obtained from various health care providers in this app.
The screenshot posted by Ishan Agarwal reads, ‘Gather all your doctor visits in one place and see all the medical information. Also link all your medical accounts. ‘
Also, medical information can be shared with friends and family through the new Google Health app. You will also need an Application Programming Interface (API) to keep your medical documents from all accounts in one place. Google may create this API.
However, Google has not yet announced when this app will launch. The company may have also developed this app for interim testing. Ishan said the official launch date of the new app is not yet known.
This is not the first time, earlier this year, another report said that Google is developing a special app to make medical reports in one place. The report further states that the US company started the recruitment process in Northern California, Atlanta and Chicago.
After launching, Google Health will clash with Apple’s Healthcare app. This app from Apple also integrates data from different health care services, which helps to see all the health data at once.
