Declining in popularity? And so, Reliance Jio to scissor the various offers for free? But the hint is the same. Reliance Jio used to offer free internet to customers on talk time plan. Despite keeping that talk time plan, Mukesh Ambani’s company stopped offering free customer data.
Also, from now on, Reliance Jio’s 4G data vouchers will no longer have voice calling services. Since the beginning of 2020, Jio has been offering free data vouchers of up to 100GB on talk time plans. In addition, 4G data vouchers also offered customers 1000 minutes of calling benefits on non-Jio networks.
Until now, Mukesh Ambani’s telecom company has been offering off-net calls to customers for up to 1GB of data for just Rs 10. In other words, if you spend 1000 rupees, the amount of data stands at 100GB, Reliance Jio used to offer this huge amount of internet. Jio’s free calling service on any network has been launched since January 1 of the new year. So even if the free data voucher is turned off, Jio customers will be able to call for free.
At the last minute of 2020, Reliance Jio announced on 31st December that with the introduction of Zero IUC system in the industry, Jio customers will also be able to make free calls to any network in India. Incidentally, in off-net calling, Reliance Jio used to charge customers 6 paise per minute on talk time plans. And that is why this plan offered additional data to the customers.
At the moment, Reliance Jio has talk time plans of Rs 10, Rs 20, Rs 50, Rs 100, Rs 500 and Rs 1000. And in all these plans, Jio users get the opportunity to use up to 100GB of free data. Customers get a total talk time of Rs 844.46 on the Rs 1000 Jio top-up plan.
