Government telecom company BSNL has an excellent prepaid recharge plan of Rs 109. To the users, that pack is better known as Mithram Plus plan. A few days ago, BSNL started giving double data benefits in this recharge pack of Rs 109. The duration of that double data benefit was further extended by this government telecom company.
This Rs 109 prepaid recharge pack from BSNL is actually a validity recharge extension plan. The plan is valid for those users who keep BSNL prepaid number active. The plan was first launched in December 2019 with 5GB of data and unlimited calling benefits. Now that plan offers customers 10GB of data.
BSNL’s Rs 109 prepaid recharge plan offers unlimited voice calls for 20 days without any FUP limit. The most attractive offer of this plan is the wide range of 10GB data usage. Government Telco BSNL’s Rs 109 prepaid pack is valid for 75 days.
BSNL recently tried to bring back users with double data offer in this plan. And they have been somewhat successful, as indicated by the extension of the Mill Double Data offer. BSNL’s double data offer of Rs 109 prepaid pack has been extended till March 31, 2021.
TelecomTalk was the first to share this news. According to the report, the new offer of Rs 109 plan (extension of double data offer) has already been made available in Kerala Telecom Circle. On the other hand, on behalf of Kerala Telecom, BSNL will stop prepaid recharge of RS 109 from April 1. At the time the plan was launched, i.e. in December 2019, its validity was 90 days.
But why BSNL is thinking of shutting down this plan is not yet known. However, many say that BSNL is trying to promote PV 106 or PV 107 plans more. These include 100 minutes of free voice calls on the PV 106 plan, and a free subscription to BSNL Tunes for 60 days. The validity of this plan is 100 days.
