Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited made a big announcement for all government employees in the country. On Monday, BSNL said it was offering a 10% discount for government employees. This means that if someone is a government employee, he can get 10 percent discount on various recharge packs of BSNL. The hint that BSNL’s trump card could be the government workers was already matched. This time Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited started working towards that goal. Government employees will get this offer from BSNL from February 1.
Discounts for Retired Employees –
Not just for those who are employed by BSNL. There are also offers for retired government employees. This was announced from BSNL_Kolkata’s Twitter handle. BSNL’s landline users, broadband and Fiber to the Home (FTTH) service users will get this facility from February 1, 2021. Earlier, BSNL used to give 5 per cent discount to government employees on various recharge plans. This time the company increased it to 10 percent.
BSNL’s desperate efforts to expand services –
Last year, the Department of Telecommunications informed all government employees that they could also enjoy BSNL or MTNL broadband, landline and other services as needed. Over the past few months, the company has come up with multiple offers to compete with the private telecom companies. BSNL has been offering free SIMs across the country for the last two months. But even then, the government telecom company is still far behind the private sector. So, this time BSNL wants to win the hearts of government employees first by giving a little more discount.
BSNL’s Special Plan –
A few days ago, BSNL came up with another big announcement. The OTT Add On Pack is being launched for BSNL’s broadband and India fibre customers from January 18. This means that from now on, like Reliance Jio, Airtel or Vodafone Idea, BSNL customers are also going to get a huge opportunity to watch OTT.
