BSNL has come up with a ‘Work From Home’ prepaid STV plan to compete with private telecom companies. Many people in the country are still working from home due to coronavirus infection. Meanwhile, other competing private telecom companies have also shifted away from data-only plans a few years ago, offering daily data benefits only on standard prepaid plans.
But because of Corona, those data-only plans have started to be offered by private telecom companies under the name ‘Work From Home’. Like Airtel, Jio and Vodafone Idea, BSNL has a number of ‘Work From Home’ plans. And those are prepaid plans of Rs 56, Rs 151 and Rs 251 respectively.
BSNL Work From Home Plan
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has come up with three plans for those users who are still working from home due to Corona. And the most interesting aspect of these three plans is that the customers will not get any calling benefit or SMS in these prepaid recharge packs. BSNL has launched plans to offer enough internet to its customers for less money. A total of 10GB of data is offered in the lowest prepaid recharge pack of Rs 56. The validity of this plan is 10 days.
On the other hand, BSNL is offering a total of 40GB of data to customers on the STV plan of Rs 151. Customers will get the benefit of using a total of 70GB of data in the prepaid recharge pack of Rs 251. The validity of these two ‘Work From Home’ plans is for 28 days. However, the best offer of these two plans is the Zing Music app subscription, which BSNL is offering to its customers for free.
Meanwhile, competing telecom companies are also offering similar work-from-home plans to their customers. But Airtel, Vi or Jio do not offer 70GB data within 300 rupees. From that point of view, BSNL’s Rs 251 Work From Home plan is one of the best recharge packs in the market at the moment.
These include Reliance Jio’s Work from Home plan at Rs 151, Rs 201 and Rs 251 respectively. And these three plans offer 30GB, 40GB and 50GB data to the customers respectively. Airtel’s Rs 251 prepaid pack (Work From Home) offers 50GB of data. Vi, on the other hand, offers customers 100GB of data on its Rs 351 Work From Home plan.
