“PUBG Mobile has emerged as the largest gaming platform in the world in terms of revenue from the App Store and Google Play in 2020,” Censor Tower wrote on Twitter. The gaming app earned 2. 2.6 billion in 2020 alone, an increase of at least 64.3% from 2019. As well as that tweet further writing, ‘A total of five gaming platforms have earned more than 1 1 billion in 2020. These include Tencent Games’ PUBG Mobile and Honor of Kings.
However, according to the censor tower, the popular Battle Royale game has recorded a record increase in revenue this year. As of 2019, PUBG Mobile’s revenue has increased by about 64.3%, which is really unimaginable. On the other hand, another gaming platform of Tencent Games, Honor of Kings, has grown at a significant rate. The revenue of this gaming app has increased by 42.8 percent this year as compared to last time.
In third place is Ninatic’s Pokémon GO, which this time earned 2 1.2 billion. In fourth place is Moon Active’s Coin Master, with revenue of 1. 1.1 billion. Another gaming platform, Roblox, is again in fourth place in terms of revenue in 2020. The game also grossed 1 1.1 billion, more than double that of 2019.
