Good news for Apple TV Plus (Apple TV +) members. Apple has decided to extend their free subscription. Apple TV Plus was launched in November 2019 with 1-year free subscription. The company then extended its free subscription until February 2021. However, a new report from 9to5Mac states that Apple has again decided to extend the free subscription until July 2021.
Apple offered TV Plus a 1-year free subscription to the new device after October 2019. Members will now be able to enjoy the original Apple Plus original content for an additional 9 months after the new announcement. Apple will also allow their old members to use this free subscription with a refund. In November, Apple started emailing its old members that they would get back about Rs 361 per month.
Apple will notify all Plus members who can use this free subscription by email. Now to get TV + membership you have to pay 99 rupees per month after 7 days free trial. You can also buy an Apple One bundle for 195 rupees per month. The Apple One bundle comes with TV Plus and other subscriptions, including iTunes.
It is believed that Apple is trying to retain its members by extending the free subscription period. According to Statistar, Apple’s TV Plus subscribers reached 40 million by the end of 2020. In February alone, they got about 10 million members. But it is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post.
