Amazon recently launched Ultra-HD televisions in India in 50 and 55-inch variants through its private label brand AmazonBasics. These two TVs came with Amazon’s Fire TV operating system. Amazon has now added three more new models to the AmazonBasics Fire TV range. These three models are – 32-inch HD Ready Smart LED, 43-inch FullHD Smart LED, and 43-inch 4K Ultra-HD Smart LED TV. These TVs have been launched much cheaper than before.
Specifications and features of Amazon Basics Fire TV Edition
The 32-inch model of the Amazon Basics Fire TV has an HD Ready display panel with a resolution of 8×138 pixels. Its 43-inch full HD variant has a panel with a resolution of 1080×1920 pixels. The 43-inch high-end variant has a 4K UHD display panel with a resolution of 2160×3640 pixels. It has been claimed that the refresh rate of the displays of the three TVs will give a viewing angle of up to 60 Hz and 18 degrees.
The 32-inch HD and 43-inch FHD TVs are powered by a 1.5 GHz quad-core processor, 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage. On the other hand, its 43-inch UHD TV has a 1.95 GHz quad core processor, 1.5 GB RAM and GB storage. Each TV will have a 20-watt output speaker with Dolby Atoms support.
While most TVs in this segment have Android OS, Amazon Basics’ TVs are powered by the Fire TV operating system. In addition to Amazon Prime Video, Netflix, Disney + Hotstar and YouTube support, users will be able to install apps from the Fire OS Store. Movies, songs, TV shows can be tuned on TV through Alexa Voice Assistant.
Price of Amazon Basics Fire TV Edition
AmazonBasics’ 32-inch HD TV is priced at Rs 13,999. On the other hand, its 43-inch FHD variant will cost Rs 23,499. It costs Rs 28,499 to buy a 43-inch 4K UHD model.
