There has been speculation about the Samsung Galaxy S21 series for the past few days. The phones in this series are going to launch on January 14 of the new year. But before that official launch, the full specifications of the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus models were leaked.
According to a recent report from Win future, the Samsung Galaxy S21 has a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2x display. On the other hand, the Plus model is being given a 6.7-inch display. Both models offer Full HD + panels with a refresh rate of 120Hz. The display screens of the two phones in this series support HDR 10+ and are capable of giving brightness up to 1,300 nits. Both phones have the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Vectus protection and an on-screen ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.
According to the report, Samsung’s new Exynos 2100 processor will be offered in these two phones, which will be paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variants. Although it is not known whether the two phones are being given microSD card slots. On the other hand, in terms of software, both the Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus models have One UI 3.1 of Android 11.
The Galaxy S21 comes with a 4000mAh battery and the Galaxy S21 + model has a 4800mAh battery. Both phones will support 25W fast charging. The report also claims that Qi may have wireless charging and reverse wireless charging support.
In terms of camera, both Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 + have 10MP front facing camera. The aperture of this sensor is f / 2.2 and it supports 4K video at 60fps rate. The back of the two phones is being given a triple rear camera sensor, the primary sensor of which is 64MP. It has telephoto lens, with OIS. There is also a 12MP wide angle lens and a 12MP ultra-wide sensor. This rear camera setup supports 8K video at a rate of 30fps.
In terms of connectivity, the two phones in this Samsung Galaxy S21 series are offered with studio speakers, IP68 certification and Samsung Knox. The Samsung Galaxy S21 and Galaxy S21 Plus phones also support 5G and have a bunch of connectivity options including dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and Wi-Fi 6.
Although it was reported that this line-up may have one more smartphone. However, it remains to be seen whether the company will launch the Galaxy S21 Ultra phone now.
