Airtel Secure Internet service will protect you from viruses, annoying websites

Popular telecom company Airtel has taken another step forward to protect internet users from various malware, computer viruses and thousands of annoying websites and applications. With Airtel Secure Internet, Airtel Xstream Fiber customers can now choose the profile of their choice and avoid the harassment of unwanted content. This service can be availed using Airtel Thanks App.

The telecom company recently added multiple profiles to their Airtel Thanks app for Airtel Secure Internet users. As a result, you can choose any one of these while using the Internet to view and block the content of your choice. That’s why Airtel is willing to offer a complimentary one-month subscription to each of its Secure Internet users.

From now on you can block unwanted add-on, social or gaming content on devices connected to Airtel X-Stream Fiber. In this case, you just have to go to the Airtel Thanks app and choose the appropriate profile. Then using features like content filtering and virus and malware protection Airtel’s secure internet will free you from unnecessary content.

For now, you can control your Internet access at will by choosing between Virus Protection, Child Safe, Study Mode and Work Mode Profile. Choosing Work mode can prevent streaming media websites like Netflix, YouTube or Hotstar. On the other hand, there will be a temporary release from the hands of online gaming in study mode!

To receive all the services, you need to follow the procedure below –
Open Thanks App> Go to Thanks Page> Tap on Airtel Secure Internet Card> Tap on Manage.

Keep in mind that this is a network-based service. Airtel will not be able to block games or apps that occupy your local storage. If you do not connect your device with Airtel Xstream Fiber, this feature will not match. At the very beginning, you will get a 1-month free subscription to the service, but from the next month onwards, you will have to become an Airtel Internet Secure customer for at least Rs 99 per month (excluding GST). The company will send you a message to re-subscribe three days before the subscription ends.
