BSNL, the government telecom company, is again offering free SIM cards. In this offer, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited is going to offer free SIM of Rs. 20 to all new customers.
However, for this offer to be available, users have to make the first BSNL prepaid recharge of more than Rs 100. Those who are interested in getting a new SIM from BSNL will get this offer till January 16, 2021. Last year, BSNL also gave free SIMs to attract new subscribers. However, the condition was the same, customers will have to recharge at least 100 rupees after getting a new SIM.
BSNL’s Free SIM Card Offer –
BSNL is claiming that customers will get a free SIM card if they recharge more than Rs 100 for the first time. Earlier, the offer was supposed to be available from the end of December last year to January 8 this year. But BSNL is reluctant to return customers in demand! And that is why the government telecom company has extended the deadline for giving free SIM till January 16.
In that case BSNL has an excellent FRC plan for those who will get a new SIM. With the company’s Rs 108 FRC plan, customers can enjoy 250 minutes of talk time per day, 1GB of data per day and 500 SMS per day. The validity of this plan is 45 days.
Private telecom companies like Bharti Airtel or Vodafone Idea also have an FRC plan of Rs 97. Surprisingly, these two telecom company do not offer anything like BSNL’s Rs 108 plan in the beginning. In other words, customers do not get 1GB internet or 500 SMS daily in Airtel or Vi’s 97 RS plan.
Besides, BSNL has made another big announcement on this day, and that is the Republic Day 2021 offer. Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has extended the validity of the Rs 1,999 plan by 21 days in this offer. The government telco has extended the validity of the Rs 2,399 plan by 72 days. In all, from now on, the validity of BSNL’s Rs 1,999 plan is 386 days and the Rs 2,399 plan is valid for 437 days.
The card offer will be available till January 16 only to new users of Chennai and Tamil Nadu Telecom Circles.
