UIDAI once again warned to free the common man from online fraud. In a recent tweet, UIDAI issued a warning that not all 12-digit numbers are Aadhaar. UIDAI’s warning is about the special fraud that started in the name of Aadhaar verification. Side by side UIDAI also, resident.uidai.gov.in/verify direct verification by clicking the link can be easily online in just two steps.

In that post on Twitter, UIDAI says that a 12-digit number does not mean Aadhaar. Aadhaar will be treated as identity proof only after verification. There UIDAI further informed that by clicking on the link resident.uidai.gov.in/verify, anyone can do Aadhaar verification.
How to verify Aadhaar card online?
According to the information published by UIDAI, for Aadhaar Card Verification, one has to log in to the resident.uidai.gov.in/verify website at the beginning. Then enter the captcha by entering any 12 digit Aadhaar number . At the end of all select the ‘Proceed to Verify’ option.

* Now enter 12 digit Aadhaar number.
* The next day Captcha.
* At the end of all, select the Proceed to Verify option.
* Now you will be informed whether Aadhaar is real on your computer screen
